About this Educator

Hi I'm Lauren. I am a NOVA-Native and live in Falls Church with my husband and our seven children. I trained with DONA International in 2018 and have supported ~250 births since then. I am passionate about educating parents through pregnancy and about birth because your postpartum journey and feeding journey is so heavily influenced by your birth experience. Parents should be informed and feel that they are truly part of the decision making team, rather than having birth "just happen" to them. I'm here to teach you all things that you don't know, you don't know! I'm passionate about partners being involved and supporting the mother as she undergoes that most life changing transformation of her life and grows in to the mother she desires to be.
